Woke up to find my order arrived.  Bit of a surprise!

Perhaps things are finally being dealt with a little faster.  For those still waiting, these were my order details:

Order Number: 2475
Detailed Invoice
Date Ordered: Tuesday 22 April, 2014

Obviously I'm happy to have finally recieved them, I just hope they are really working flat out to catch up on orders now.  Would love to get more minis but can't make an order until I see a reasonably functioning business back in place.

My order has arrived.  Hopefully they are working their way through the backlog and everyone else will also get what they wanted.

It'd be great if they were getting back on their feet. There's so much stuff I want now I can't get it!

I'm amazed that anyone would consider putting new orders in with them!  But that's your business.

Meanwhile I received this e-mail this morning...

Quote
Date Ordered: Saturday 06 July, 2013
The comments for your order are: Hi, So sorry about the long delay which was caused by severe and prolonged ill health, if you have another outstanding order it will be dispatched as soon as possible we are catching up as fast as we can. Thank you for your patience and understanding, we will of course be honouring all orders. Jo

There's absolutely no way I'd consider putting an order in until it was evident that they'd sorted things out. I'd just like to pick up those Deep Ones.

I received an email this morning stating my August 2013 order had shipped.

We'll see...

If they wrote something like:

'Sorry for everything - we're getting our act together now'

On the front page I would consider ordering from them.

That would certainly help! At the moment I'd just like to see people get their orders. I lost money with the Maelstrom Games thing a few years ago now, so I sympathise.

Just tried an experiment. A new order.  :D

Interesting: without any problem I was able to log into my ‘vintage’ BCB account. My order status still is ‘pending’ order date Monday, June 24th 2013, money withdrawn by PayPal on August 5th 2013.

So my new attempt included some minis of the former order and a few more (I really want that fisherman with pipe but now have no use for some other minis anymore. One of my long-term projects is the fishing vessel ‘Consul Pust’ based on a 1/100 paper craft model, scaled up to 1/64 and converted into an armed private commerce-raider).

Total new BCB-order: about 21 GBP.

Surprise: paying by PayPal is still possible!  :o :o :o Even after I’ve told them about the BCB issues. Maybe there were not enough new orders causing disputes? Or maybe PayPal is working that slow?
However I paid and will increase pressure after two/three weeks. Hopefully I’ll receive the minis. Otherwise PayPal has to refund me again. Will be a piece of cake since THEY ignored my warning  ;)

But on the other hand all protest by different customers might at least have pressed BCB into delivery.  lol

Stay tuned…

I received my order :) Can't believe it after 14 months. When they state that all orders are dispatched I might consider making a small new one. ;)

A usual I immediately received the standard PayPal payment confirmation note afterwards.

Roughly translated ‘You have sent the money to’ – drum roll – ‘Black Cat Bases Ltd (enquires@blackcatbases.com)’.

So PayPal did not block any @blackcatbases.com address. However, they also stated that – in case of problems - I can start a dispute within 180 days. (Of couse I won't wait until March 2016  ;) )

Interesting as the Limited company was dissolved in 2006/7 (looking at companies house) and so they shouldn't still be using Ltd as part of their name....

Mind you, Black Tree Design continued to do the same thing until I pointed it out to them.
