Great brushwork... Applause.  One question.  Why round bases and not rectangular?
Thanks! I want them uniformly based with the remainder of my fantasy collection. All my (28 mm fantasy) minis are based on identical 25mm metal washers. Don't ask me why, it made sense when I got back into all this. I play mainly skirmish games, such as Song of Blades And Heroes, and I would like my HQ minis to pull double duty.

Nice work there. I also prefer circular based minis and do that with all my minis now too. Can't wait to see the gargoyle as well.

Cool, thanks for answering.  I half expected you to say it was to match the original tv advert where the models were on round bases :D
Smile!  It's not that bad!

Very nice painting:

Quote
First up, four chaos warriors. The models are not the ones included with Heroquest originally, but the 90s single pose regiment ones. As I was under time pressure I opted to use these instead

Surely better to painting than the original and almost the same model.

Yeah, there's not much difference between them.
