Thanks.  When I´ve got the How to finished it can be seen that to create the buildings in 28mm or whatever is totally possible..in fact, 28mm would probably be a lot easier.

Say, question if you don't mind. I'm used to thinking of Roman forums as purely the open space, perhaps with a centrepieces but not as an enclosed building. Your forum is more of a courtyard, which I guess is something that happened with smaller forums? In cases like that, what would the surrounding building house?

The ones shown in the link are Grand affairs compared to my lowley effort, which, if I´d built one along those lines it would have been massive. On a rough calculation,  a copy of the one at  Silchester, with attached basilica,  would be a model of over 1m square. Law Court (Basilika) is planned, which I left off due to construction Problems but I could attach it later.

Really fabulous work on the town.

Fram, I think that enclosed fora are the norm in Roman towns.

This is the example from Leicester (where I live):



In the foreground is the forum (with its basilica and surrounding colonnaded shop-units) and in the background is the 'macellum', another market-complex, with the same general plan but no official functions.

I see Leicester has changed since the last time I visited
