Sources for "blank" minis?

So maybe I'm just making things harder on myself than I need to (see my thread with heavy conversion questions).

Not many companies make minis dollys (blank figures where you add hair, clothes, etc.) and the ones that do, tend to have them in fairly bland or static poses. What I'm wondering is, does anyone produce a post-modern, or modern, or sci-fi line of figures with very skin-tight or form fitting outfits? Figures with no armour, or much if any gear? Holding weapons would be okay though.

Not because I'm craving the fleshpots (well, maybe I am, but that's an entirely separate issue  ), but because such figures would work almost like a dolly. The detail would be shallow and easy to clean off or otherwise easy to cover.

Just wondering if anything like this actually exists. I doubt it, but figured it was worth asking. I'm not as familiar with modern/sci-fi lines as I am with fantasy lines, so maybe there's something out there I don't know about?

How about plastic?
I love to abuse Wargames Factory Miniatures as armatures/base for modifications.
Details are easy to file/cut off and if thats too much trouble .... they have skeletons too.

You could try Foundry or Copplestone Darkest Africa tribesmen, or Perry plastic Sudanese. They're in relatively little so act as mannequins, but also come in a wide variety of dynamic poses. If you don't need to recast it then the  plastics are easily moddable too.

I have some sculpting dollies, but they are more like matchstick men so would require a lot of work.

I can and probably should make my own, if it gets down to wireframes.

As for what I'm making, I enjoy big reveals too much.

Nothing TOO dramatic though. Just some minis for a game.

Reaper does their non heroic dollies.  I have used them before and they can be bent pretty easily to any shape you need.
