need a weapon for this figure

I need a weapon to convert this figure, on the right, from a grave digger to a grave warden
any ideas?

A sickle, kind of like a mini scythe

Ideally a halberd -halberd and lantern were the traditional equipment of night watchers- but you'd have to modify the hand?
A musket -butt resting on the ground, shorten the barrel as necessary.
Or a 2-hand 'Saxon' ax or bardiche? I'm no longer familiar with medieval / Renaissance miniatures ranges, but I'm sure 'weapons packs' are available.
