Hu-Rhu is probably not his real name, but it is what he is known as around Town as he is always walking up to people whilst uttering what sounds like' Hu-Rhu??'....

He is a particularly neat and dapper chap, unlike some in town and rumours abound that he is going to attempt to introduce the idea of laundering your clothing to those in need of instruction.

Deepry honouled to be incruded in most honoulable Cleek.  Prease to show way to raundly.  lol lol
Great paint job by the way

I am glad that you like him, Gary.
The original paintjob was by redzed with a little tinkering with washes and a rebasing by myself.

Does his hat say "I♥UC"?

Or would it be barbaric?

 lol
That just would not be seen as very sophisticated, methinks.

No camera?  He's not a real Japanese tourist!  :D

Maybe he is NOT a 'real Japanese tourist'.... ;)

But he could wear a face mask.....as half the population of Tokyo seem to do.

No smog in Upsheet Creek yet.
Well.....not much anyway.
 ;)

:D :D

Next up......Ray Earle.

Next up......Ray Earle.
 :D

Right, here he is then....Earl G. Raye.

Again, originally a redzed paintjob with a little tinkering from myself to fit him in with the rest of the Creek's residents.

Another English Gent, he has made his fortune with his Tea Empire and is now travelling the New World looking for the Next Big Thing.

Some idiot suggested tobacco, but what would any sane person want with such an ugly plant, it also tastes disgusting in boiled water...!

Very good.  lol

He looks like trouble. Will probably get shot by the natives his first week in country.  ;)

I am glad that he gets your seal of approval, Ray.

On to something else recently finished, the Railroad Tracks...

They should look much better like this, rather than before where they looked like a few bits of plastic dropped in the middle of the table.

Here is a closer piccie, with Hu Rhu for scale...

Now it is back to the coal-face.
Times a catching up....

The tracks are exactly what I want to do with mine. Is that a length of ply or mdf you've used? I'd previously used lengths of a heavy grade plasticard on my terrain only to find it warped terribly. I like it and the new additions to the Creek! I'm not sure I trust that Hu Rhu fellow though:D

It is 6mm MDf, mate, roughly cut and bevelled.

As for Hu Rhu....dont blame ya.
 ;)

Cheers, mate.
Running out of time to do all that I would like, though.
Some of it will have to be done after BLAM.

Ha-ha!
You got it in one, Bertie.

Here are some more......

Elk the Trapper in his 'work' gear...

Painted by Bugsda some time ago.
I do have another figure of Elk in more casual gear, but will not have time to paint it before BLAM, so his 'working' outfit will have to do for BLAM.
101 WILL follow shortly... ;)

And introducing Eli Simon....

....rumour has it that he is rich a newcomer to town who is looking to having a property built to his own specifications*.

A few chips need sorting out on him and his revolver needs straightening, unless I give him the ability to shoot around corners, that is.
 ;)

(*This property wont be ready in time for BLAM, but will be done at some point afterwards...).

More to come tomorrow as I have finished Damas and Silent Invader today, and also started work on the last building, the Creek and the two Dr's, V and Z..... :D

Cracking! I'm honoured to put in an appearance at Upsheet Creek.

Eli Simon is a nice touch, I was wondering how you would deal with Elysium!

Love them, I to am honored to be on the rosta. Not so sure about the "rich" part of the descriptor, I think he is more of a Walter Mitty character who is fooling himself that he has enough income for all his projects, ah, now that sounds more familiar lol
Eli Simon's House ought to be built with grand aspirations, but none of it is quite finished ;D

Your ability to make puns over usernames is just as impressive as the actual build of the creek. I am looking forward to see how you will handle the crazy Viking.

It is a shame that time is running out as I would have liked to have gotten the other version finished.
I think you have a good idea of what Elk looks like in his 'casual' gear already.
101 to come.
 ;)

Well, Eli's property will be called the Elysium, and I have sussed out the '64' bit too.
You will just have to stay tuned after BLAM to find out exactly how, wont you?
 :D

As for the 'unfinished' look.....that could be arranged.

Thanks, Doc!
I think I have been a little more clever with yours rather than Thornbjorn's.
Give it a a few days and you will see.... ;)
