And breath...... Upsheet Creek for BLAM 2014 UD:13/10
« Reply #1650 on: 13 October 2014, 07:25:32 PM »
Thanks very much, chaps.
 :D

I am glad that those that played seemed to enjoy it and those that didnt play like the lovely piccies (which are a damn sight better than any I have taken...can I steal them, Richard?  :D).

I am going to try and a little get together soon so we can play again, and I may even cook dinner for you as well, you lucky bastards.
 :D

As for the rules, I shall write them up soon and pass them on, but they are not really rules, just very simple notes.
Nothing particularly exciting, honest, but hey...if you wants 'em, that is fine.

I am really glad that the game is now done and dusted and the pressure is off to get it finished, but I will be coming back to the Creek in future as there are a lot of trees on that table that came be chopped down and the timber used for buildings.
 ;)

Cheers,
Dave.

Be my guest  :)

Thank you, Sir!
 :D

AND JUST TO ANSWER A COUPLE OF POINTS THAT I SHOULD HAVE DONE EARLIER:

....What next, few weeks of vacation to recover your nerves and hobby mojo?

Not sure about the vacation bit, but I think I shall take a short break from painting or building anything for a while, though... ;)

Although I think we should all be worried! Paul mentioned next years game was going to be Hannah Montana! !! :o

 :D :D :D

Yep, he aint telling fibs, Hannah Montana IS a key part of next years game.

 :D :D :D

Mason, you are a dirty little man who wants to catch innocent man (like jim bibbly) for games with fisting in his chamber.  ;)

But seriously: These were one of the games made for convention. Six player (or more?), fast mechanism, great table. You should write down the rules and publish it.

I love German humour! lol lol

Paul, mate, it looks amazing! And I'm so glad that it went as good as it went! Although, I'm a bit disappointed that you didn't do more for BLAM than just some house and minis. Here's for hoping that you will do more next year!

The game was hugely fun and it certainly wasn't clear who was winning as things changed dramatically during each turn (which is much more fun). Tom the B@stard certainly lived up to his name!  lol

Are you jealous, Dirk?

The rules shall be published in one form or another.
I may need a couple of chaps to test/proof read them, so I shall be enlisting the aid of a few of you who have actually played the game to see if they make sense when I do.

And you are a very cheeky boy, sir.
You shall get yours when you finally brave it cross the water.
 ;D ;D

(P.S Karsten did pass on your message and it was much appreciated.. :)).

Please don't encourage the afflicted, Fred.

I am sure that you would have enjoyed yourself with all the eye-candy on show.
And you could have taken a look at my effort too.

They certainly did.
I had no idea what your objectives were watching you play, for example, and you won your game... o_o

As for Tom....yep, he is a right B*stard, aint he??
