Won't be the first time Mason has been steamed, and ended up with the paddle...

 :D

Well, that as they say, appears to have killed the conversation - sorry guys :'(

The piccies shall come tomorrow, but I have finally finished all the green stuff and wood work on some barricades that were recently purchased from a certain Captain on the Bazaar.
I have been trying to hide all the damned mattresses that were cast on them......I did leave one, though.
I guess one is ok.

They should hopefully look passable as stacks of goods displayed out on the streets now......fingers crossed.
 ;)

They are indeed.
How was a bloke meant to resist when he needs some stuff to fill his Old West streets?

As I mentioned before, they were very nice barricades but most of them did have some very modern-looking mattresses on them that needed hiding.

This was done by either building 'crates' around them from coffee stirrers or covering them in green stuff bags and sacks.

The seemingly-random blobs of green stuff are where I have repaired the 'burst' sandbags/grain sacks so that they looked more like trade goods.

A few more items from the recent pile of trade goods purchased from Ainsty and a couple of old bits from the bits box and they are good to go...

The one in the centre of the front row has not been touched.
You can clearly see the mattress on it.
(This one will not be used in the Creek, but will be sent to someone else who can make use of it  ;)).

Now I just need to get them painted up.
Hopefully later today....

Great idea, they work really well.

They should see service elsewhere too, of course.

I have one that I wont be using.
I could alway sell it back to you.....
I should warn you, though, that these things have gone up in value considerably since I bought them ages ago... ::)

I would appreciate it if we did not have a Countdown clock going on over here as well, though....

Work in progress piccie, just to show that 'something' did get done...

Just some weathering and base pimping to do and they are good to go.
