Mummy's Army Part 2
« on: November 25, 2013, 02:09:19 PM »
The army of Mummies is now much greater than I had anticipated - probably around 600pts for Hail Caesar, or: More than I will ever need.  All figures are Reaper Miniatures' Bones, and the chariots are scratchbuilt.  Painting was dipping in wood stain and then slap-painting highlights.

They look like plastic "ribbled" piping cut to size and topped with flexible hose or something. Although I could be wrong but the pieces look stunning!

Very cool. Them's some speedy scorpions!

Consider the ribbed hose/tubing/thingy idea nicked.. although I am going to do it in 15mm scale - got a fantasy chariot race (a la Circus Maximus) in the works...

I look forward to that!  The scorpions would even be better in scale!

Very nice. I really like the look of your elites.
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.
