thank you !

I believe I "saved" it (the white technical) fixing some panel lines (colors had to be modified to match the "heavy" weathering), and using pigments (my first attempt). Overall, it could have been worst on this particular car !

Tonight I made my first game with the painted figures and scenery (and custom markers!). It definitly multiply the fun  :)

I still need to add new scenery : some dirt road, some river, some multiple trees bases (because individual bases are a pain  :?), and some rocky hills, wich will be usefull for all my games, no matter the period or scale (15 or 20mm).

On the afghanistan side, probably a few ruins, to make my compound bigger. This kind of assymetrical skirmishes games, you cannot have too much scenery.

I'll post new stuff soon, I'll make the "generic" scenery tommorow (I know, I've got plenty of other projects allready in progress, but this lack of basic scenery is still a problem).

I started some additional terrains, wich were definitly missing to my current collection : dirt roads and rivers.

For now, I made some dirt roads sections :

Tommorow I'll make some rivers sections.

Thank you !

they are done like gaming mats are done : with acrylic caulk, sand, some fine gravel (here, some clean cat litter), and then you have to "sculpt" the paste in a realistic way.

It's not something I invented : you can find tutorials for this easily with google, probably. Or even on LAF !

Rivers are done !

2 rivers, a large one (1foot large in the largest width), so I can play special forces boats on it) and a medium one About 4' lenght of each. I also made a few turns for the small river.

Thanks !

The roads and rivers are progressing, here's some pics. Tommorow I'll finish the paint, then I'll have to work on the water itself.

Thanks !

The paint effects on river are completed. Basically, the idea is to fake deepness.

TOmmorow, once it will be perfectly dry, I'll add the final effects (water gloss texture, water sprays).
