Colonial French (pic heavy)
« on: 04 December 2013, 07:36:33 PM »
Here are some pics of my dad's colonial army that I painted for him a while back.  I may have posted them here years ago but I just recently took better pictures of them and put them up on my site.  They are based in units of 20 for The Sword and the Flame, and are set in our fictional Africa setting.

Very nice!  :-* Lovely shading work there.

Thanks for the complements.  I haven't seen them for a bit and it has resparked my interest in French colonials.
@former user, you got it. The FFL are Old Glory and the others are Askari Miniatures.

Thanks again for the nice comments, its always good to hear  :)  I have previously posted my Colonial Germans ( http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=56709.0 ) and British ( http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=56774.0 ) here.  Over on the Ancients board I have some Gladiators and Greek Mythology figures posted.  I'm slowly going through my collection of figures and getting them photographed.  Down the line, I have some Natives that need to get some camera time, Bretonnians, Empire troops and some Space Marines.  I put up more pictures over at theparadeground.blogspot.com.
