VUK Font name, please!
« on: 09 December 2013, 11:16:10 AM »
I am using a binder for VUK, and I would like to put a label on the back/spine with the same font as on the front cover.  :)

Is it a font, or did you create it for the game?
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

It was drawn freehand by me and digitally coloured by Lidless... :?  Not very helpful I'm afraid...

The interior fonts are Opera Lyrics Smooth (titles, section headers) and Garamond (body text).  I wish I had the know-how to turn Mike's cover art into a font!  What I did manage to do is convert it to a single line.  Provided as a PNG with transparent background, for anyone that wants to put together their own piece, or a handy premade spine (matching the back cover) that will fit up to a 2" binder, with room to trim down if required.

Cool, thanks!

I can definitely use one of those files!

I use a 1" binder, with 4 rings, but I can crop away the second line and fit it on a dark green background  :)

You know, about five seconds after I uploaded that thing, what thought goes through my mind but: "You realize someone is going to use a 1" binder, right?"  Guess I should start actually listening to that voice inside my head!  Now where are my knives at?   :D
