They have come out really well.

Love the colour choices, Bertie, bloody gorgeous.
Almost Mars-like.

I was thinking that same thing.  I could really see my Oenotrian forces on this field.

Lovely stuff. What's the dimension of each panel?

220mm x 300mm that fits in an IKEA PAPPIS box. :D originally it was 310mm but that didn't go well with the dimensions of the mdf sheet I bought.

That looks bloody excellent Matt, very nice work indeed. I love the colours.

Oh good I was a little concerned with getting them just right, yet generic ish.

... see my Oenotrian forces on this field.

Oh that's good that it could suit some other purposes, good idea if I start a sci-fi project. :D

Cracking work mate  :-* :-*

A few low, windswept trees and bushes and it'll be spot on  8)

Ooh that is a good idea, I shall need to make a few modular trees in the future then ;).

Thanks for the critique and comments guys.

Cheers

After the Convention on the weekend I had some time to take some pictures of my finished western buildings.

The buildings are Aetherworks here in Sydney. They are basic, but a good price (for a sydney sider) and rather solid construction that goes together without much fuss. They even come with instructions.

I used Masons great sign tutorial as before, and think they came out rather well. I added window/door frames with balsa and card, and a corrugated cardboard roof.

A few more images are over on my blog if your interested: http://makeandpaint.blogspot.com.au/2014/10/aetherworks-buildings-and-few-new-folks.html

I also slapped some paint on "The General" from Forgotten Glorious' Civil war range.

Thanks for looking peoples.
Matt

They've come out very nicely Matt. We've both gone for the same colour scheme for our hotels.

Very nice mate  :-* :-*

They aren't masterpieces, but they have scrubbed up well.

Really Steve? How about that. Aqua must be in ;)

A very nice trio of buildings :)

Ta, I liked the variety that these 3 had as well as a little uniformity.

Thanks. And Thanks  >:( lol. Nope, time to paint goblins. Cutting little windows in thick styrene with a knife is blooming hard! I have done the walls for one car...

Yep, that's a lovely shop!  (PS: Nice job on the Old Timer...that figure and his shotgun toting brother are my favorite figures of the BS line).

Second that Elbows!! I call them affectionately "The Two Fatties".

These were really beauties in the flesh - but I had such little time to admire them, what with being pursued by an axe wielding maniac!!

Thanks Fury, that's really kind. Well, you could have shot her (if you had ammo) ;) lol ... And at least you were spared the blood bath. :/

I added a little more weathering to the white after the game, it was a bit bright and flat.

What game are you prepping at the moment?

Cheers
Matt :)

This is posted over in workbench in the card thread.. but she needs to go here for completeness.

Landon Ricketts inspects her closely, revealing; shoddy construction, miss fitting joins, elipse wheels and excessive glue. All to say, I made her myself  lol
