Thanks guys!

As almost all of my US Airborne pictures that I had uploaded have vanished from ze Internet, I have uploaded them again all into one place.

Quite some time has passed, but I actually have to present a new addition to my US airborne:

Was an absolute pleasure to paint! More pics here: http://stoessi.blogspot.de/2016/02/stoessis-heroes-strike-again-release-2.html

<Necromancy mode on.>

Last weekend I went to Eindhoven to attend the Scale Model Challenge and to take part in the painting competition. I wanted to enter my US Airborne army at the "Armies on display" category, so I still had to build a display board which I completed just in time. In fact, I was still working on the piece on the hotel parking lot up until the evening before the event.

Unfortunately, someone else also did some work on the hotel parking lot... on my car (see pics below)! :(

At least, I was able to finish my entry and I did get a bronze medal for it. Overall, a memorable weekend.

Great job on your award. Well done.
Too bad about your car.
Was yours the only one it was done to?

Thanks!
Yes, mine was the only one. I think someone was specifically looking for those wheels & rims.

Well done on the bronze! Dam shame about the car!

It looks as though you were up against some GW competition. Are you sure the GW crowd didn't do that to your car because you brought a WWII army to their armys on display comp? ;)

Thanks guys!

Next time I will built a display with my rims attached to it, so I can keep an eye on them even at the show. ;)
