@Sir Tobi: signed in!  :D

Here are some shots from the last Testgames on a Con two weeks ago:

And here is some Samurai-Style Gaming-Material:

Measuring sticks in M, S and VS, "Blood and Blossoms" - Fatigue Markers and a singing bowl.  ;)

I finished the first three Battelboards for download here:
http://www.kurpfalz-feldherren.de/fotogalerie/samurai-ninja
...but haven't translated them yet (they are in german). Will share english versions of them very soon.

Lovely work you've got there.
Both conversion work and paint jobs are absolutely inspiring!
Thanks for sharing.

Looking forward to have a peek at those battle boards as well.

@Battleboards: well... painting miniatures and building terrain keeps we really damn buisy these days... (besides work, family and all that stuff) only three weeks to go now... why does it allways need to be that tight... well, I guess my own fault then... but I'll keep you up to date here.

At least most of the miniatures are finished now. Here are some finished monks, the third party that will be fighting inside the zen-garden:

I hope you like it  :)

Fabulous, although I don't understand why it's been moved out of the medieval section.  :)

@carlos13th: the Warlord ist from Legend of the five Rings / Clanwar. They are now sold by Valiant Enterprises: https://www.veltd.net/zencart/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=36
@janner: I asked to move it, 'cause I've seen that all Samurai-Stuff seems to be posted here, so it made sense somehow... maybe...

Well some of the figures appear to have muskets, so...  ::)  ;)

Truthfully, samurai-era Japan is one of those genres that doesn't fit neatly in any of the current LAF 'historical' categories - given that the samurai era stretched for over a thousand years right through to the latter C19th. So samurai genre threads could be Medieval, could be Renaissance/Swashbuckling (Pikes, Muskets and Flouncy Shirts), could even be Age of Big Battalions - chronologically speaking.
But as GevatterTod says, most Samurai threads seem to end up clustered in Other Adventures, so it seems reasonably at home here :)

Fabulous-looking figures and terrain, by the way :)

If we apply to same logic to a western noble warrior genre (such as chivalry) might we not encounter a similar problem ;)

Anyway, I'm enjoying following this one and can find it as easily here :)
