28mm Warlord Games Germanic Tribesmen: Continued With Command
« on: 02 January 2014, 06:20:39 PM »
An absolute joy to paint. I would recommend these metal sculpts to anyone.... the severed head in the first frame was my addition. The chainmail actually has the puncture mark on it where a poor Roman met his demise. Excellent attention detail.

Those are some nasty looking fellows. Great brush work and basing. They definitely look ready for some action. Well done sir!! Thanks for sharing.

I really like those - the limited, grubby, palette really seems to suit them and adds an extra degree of menace.

Menace?

After a long day on the pitch they are making a turn around the town for the next watering hole.

Do like your brush work though.

3 Command bases. The first is Warlord Games, very nice. The second is BTD with Foundry Champion. Third is BTD......

Thought the rank and file were good, these command bases are even better. Love your "dirty" palette, nice to see some savages who don't have access to biological washing powder.

Very impressive command bases! That antler standard might be just a bit 'over the top' though.  lol

Looking good! I love the guy standing on the shield :D Great looking mini vignette. The horse head nicely tops it all off.

The guy with the massive moose horns is also looking real good.

The dirty paint job really works wonders on these.
