Note the jealous wraith over your shoulder during the game; 'in spirit' is the only way I can be there, alas.

Notable in absence, the lack of failures (perhaps I just didn't see same?) causes me to ask, do you use Start/Sustain rolls? Our mechanical beasts are often hopeless because of them. Therefore, we tend to use generous threshold rolls, or even only use them in case of damage.

I didn't mention them. Mainly they happened to the Mechanical Cavalry early in the game, which is why they were so slow in advancing, Also once to the Mechanical Man, but at a point where it didn't matter.

Yes, I do give out good Start and Sustain rolls, but balance that with mediocre Save rolls. With the damage chart being so random (too many of the penetrating hits do no or little damage in most cases) I want to increase the chance of penetrations to counter-balance that a little.

Great looking game. I love the John Adams; is it Quincy flavour or regular?
