American Indians in 15 mm
« on: 07 January 2014, 01:28:31 PM »
Okay, as I try and move all my miniatures to 15 mm from 25+ mm I see I need 15 mm American Indians for several rules sets...

Apaches, Comanches, Navajo, etc., figures without Revolvers and Repeating Rifles (muskets good to go) would be ideal since most of my games occur in the 1700 to early 1800s but realistically I expect I will have to make conversions.

Sources for 15 mm sized Indians Please?

Gracias

Glenn

I had a bad experience with Irregular SF figures back in the 1970s - 25 mm towered over my 25 mm figures I owned, 15 mm figures were just too small for my 25 mm figures even as  a dwarf sized race but too tall for any of the 15 mm gamers in Sacramento where I then lived.  Some of them "ended up badly" when I moved which is a shame.

Does anyone have pictures of them compared to other 15/8 mm sized American Indians?

As always the listing of figures on the irregular site looks so good but I am hesitant to pay postage from UK to USA without having a clue as how they compare to other 15/18 mm figures.

Once burned, twice cautious as they say  :-I (or was that paranoid?)  ;)

Gracias,

Glenn

QRF stuff looks good but I wish there were less firearms and more traditional weapons so they could look more 1700s but that is just me.

 lol

Blue Moon...

I like the pictures!  They are listed under 15/18 mm - not a buying killer but are they more 18 or 15 mm?

Edit:  Again, more rifles/revolvers than I would like but not a buying killer all by itself...

Gracias,

Glenn

I've their cowboy (being painted int this thread : http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=60480.0 ) and they are splendid. However, they are considerably taller than average 15mm :S
