Gods below, the cleanup bill will cost a packet.

I joined my gun with pirate swords, and sailed the seas of cyberspace.

Yes, we're never going to get the blood out of the carpets! Unless the Much-Pidddling Women's Institute cab be prevailed upon to help with the cleaning.  ;)

I really wanted him to make that roll and pootle off into the sunset smoking his cigar! Pulp Alley rules just seems to make the game go the way it should?

YAY! This looked like so much fun.  I loved your story.  :-*

How's the snow at your end?

Another round of snow coming in tomorrow night! Game has been rescheduled for Sunday, Feb. 16. I only hope the ending of mine is as thrilling!

Do you have a plot idea for the Mad Lord's next adventure...? Surely, someone wants t o acquire the Ark from his clutches...?

Yes, I have three boards which I have been building for some time but they are not finished yet (secret rocket base exterior, secret rocket base interior and dockside at Alexandria). Part 4 of the Eye of the Buddha may have to be set wherever I have scenery for, which at the moment looks like North Arfica, maybe Morocco.

The overriding evilness behind the Eye of the Buddha is that Ankh su Namun is seeking to reincarnate her lover, Dorstep, from the dead. Dorstep was executed by the then Pharaoh, Ramitin III in the 2nd century B.C. According to the Book of the Dead Ankh needs several artefacts to perform the ritual resurrection of her lover. The Gräfin von Toptotty works for Ankh but may be in deep trouble when she reports back her failure to snatch the Ark in England. This may form part of the next game.

Ankh herself failed to capture the Eye of the Buddha in British Honduras (see part 2) and the archaeologists from part 3 have possession of that. They intend to present it to the Bembridge Scholars at a dinner hosted by Lord Emsworth at Blandings Castle (the Empress will of course have a part to play in that game!). You can guess where that game is going to be set but I don't want to stage another game on that board straight away so that's on the back-burner for later in the year.

I hope your game can go ahead on the 16th, keep us posted!

I'm afraid the secret rocket base is still under construction with quite a lot more work to do but here's a teaser of the WIP:

It's made by Pegasus Hobbies, 1/48 scale. I got this one and another one on eBay.

Great AAR! Thank you for postint it.

Also, fantastic start on the rocket base.
I've been eyeing those pegasus rockets for some time.

What are the grey parts?
Very nice carving on the blue foam. Carving blue foam is something I have just started trying but mu results are very crude and clumsy.

Needless to say, I look forward to seeing more.

The grey parts are just blue foam that I've dry-brushed, apart from that doorway which is resin. I intend it to be stone floors with brick walls.

My wife's away visiting her mother, so I was able to fill up the kitchen table without getting a b********g! I just laid out some of the pieces which might form the secret rocket base if it ever gets finished. It would probably be three games, the approach (dockside at the front), the interior which would be the three polystyrene blocks and then the rocket launching area itself at the rear. All I need to do now is hours of work to bring it all together! Simples!  lol

Any suggestions welcome! This will be a Pulp game first but I intend to play a KKBB on it as well using Pulp Alley rules.

P.S. Just bought some more V2s, you can never have enough rockets, can you?
