One question springs to mind...should it not be 1/56...for 28mm?

I definitely prefer 1/48 and 1/50 scale vehicles to 1/56 scale for my 28mm armies. I use them primarily for SoTR, and the larger vehicles are visually more appealing next to the minis. Most manufactures sculpt "heroic" minis now a days. So they don't look right next to 56mm "true scale" vehicles. It all comes down to personal choice.
I, too, am an Indiegogo Virgin, and have just pledged in for two!  :D
These will look great next to my gaso.line E-10, E-100, and my mechatank walkers. Hopefully, someone will actually produce a Katchen APC in 1/48 scale this year!

Technically it should, but increasely I've heard folk complain about the smallness of 1/56th models so perhaps he's aware of that?

He knows the difference and all about the long standing 1/56 vs 1/48 debate.

 I do know,and I have several vehicles on 1/56 1/50 and 1/48...and 1/43.
The thing is I would like to have some vehicles produced this year,I wont be starting that age old debate again but it is always good to know what people think these days.
In the past it balanced mostly between 1/56 and 1/50 ... personally my favorites.
I have noticed in our wargaming shops here there are companies selling 1/60 tanks...as 28mm.

A big debate about this took place in the past but there was no real verdict. But 1/56 was the most "voted" scale of choice then.

This looks really promising. I also prefer 1/48 vehicles for my wargames, but must confess to the fact that I primarely use 1/48 figures as well nowadays. I have some 28mm but, as I said, most new miniatures are 1/48. The terrain and such are not that much different and looks great with older 28mm figures as well.

For anyone who wants a Lowe, but must have it 1/56, Company B are in the process of producing one. Their stuff is generally very good, so there's no reason to assume this wouldn't be, however no firm date for release is available yet.

The scale choice of 1/48, AFAIK, was a conscious decision to make it attractive to the DUST crowd as well plus some of the less discriminating scale modellers (I've handled Heer46 kits before, and I'd say they are up with proper scale models concerning detail, albeit with some trade-offs for ease of assembly). I cannot fault Dennis for wanting to expand the potential market for this one. Also, since it's a Paper Panzer anyway, being a bit on the large side won't hurt too much, IMHO.

Actually, even the 28mm figures looks quite good with 1/48 vehicles, especially since the miniatures often have bases.

Yup - not wanting to open THAT can of worms again, but I'm quite happy with Tamiya 1/48 for my late-war US and mid-war German 28mm armies. Some older ranges don't really work out, but most modern ones on bases are okay, IMHO.
