Am also getting regular incidents of slow running 

And earlier, somewhat strangely, the Paypal image appeared over the home button

I too am either getting a 500 Internal Server Error or a crippling slowdown at least 2-3 times per day.

Wow, it's been very bad tonight. Barely able to get on the forums at all.

And into this morning too. That did seem like the worst one so far.

Yes, the problem with the weekend crashs it takes quite long to get the right people from the technical support. But fortunately I was able to get some. We did some changes on the configuration and I hope it will make slightly better but I assume we perhaps will have to get a new server with more RAM, the current one seems to be a bit outdated.

If the issues continue to occur, I will upgrade to a new machine but as meintioned already this will take some time (2-3 months) to prepare. So I'm sorry in advance for the possible troubles on this site.

I receive a message from the server every time the database crashes so actually you don't need to log it. But if it helps to get through the hard times so feel free to post here

It felt like my car had been written off or I had lost the use of my legs.

Scary how addictive the forum has become in my daily life.

There are many sites that could crash for a day and I would not notice. We will just have to look on this as a hint to paint more.
