Is there a PM maximum?

I'm lazy about cleaning inboxes (and sometimes old message or links come in handy), so I've never "flushed" mine. I'm at 245 and was just wondering: Is there a maximum number of PMs you can have?

I've never flushed mine either, and I can remember when Lead Adventure was beige, not green.
