Bolt Action 28mm Normandy 1944

On Thursday I went to Hugh Wilson’s for a big 8 player WWII Bolt Action game.  It was a Normandy 1944 invasion scenario which Colin Jack had designed.  Colin supplied all the troops and Hugh Wilson had done a fine job producing the terrain including a great looking sandy beach.   This was our second evening playing thru this game.

 Fantastic!!Well done !!!Those French tanks by Solido are top notch,amazing how they soldier on after what?30-40 years?
 The Corgis are also great probably the best in the market so far!

Yes it must be at least 30 years since Solido started making those tanks.  Sad that Corgi have completely dropped out of 1/50 vehicle manufacture.

 Yes it is they should come back...there is still a market for them,as you know there were some brands like the Sandford museum and Gaso.Line that made new models from old castings and new paint/camo patterns etc.
 There are still a vast number of models to be produced from their old metal hulls and turrets...the wheels and tracks however are another matter as they were made to be toys,with working movable tracks...these days that is no longer a must,as these are mostly bought by us...and collectors...if they made new sets of tracks and wheels they could go one step closer to the Corgi quality.
