Wow, some great work! With 89 joining it just keeps getting better and better! I'd be proud to play on a table with any of these minis.....

his must be my absolute favorite of the LPC.  It is fantastic and absolutely revolting! The green mottled walking toothed sphincter vagina slug monk. I shall be angst ridden.

That's brilliant!  :-* It's the look I was going for in red but missed the mark with. You have inspired me to return to it with this wonderful paintjob.  :)

A tough act to follow! Here is another figure I've had on my painting desk for quite some time. From Games Workshop...but Lovecrafty enough for me. I hope you will agree...

LPC 90 Night Stalker

For crouched within that centuried coffin, embraced by a closepacked nightmare retinue of huge, sinewy, sleeping bats, was the bony thing my friend and I had robbed; not clean and placid as we had seen it then, but covered with caked blood and shreds of alien flesh and hair, and leering sentiently at me with phosphorescent sockets and sharp ensanguined fangs yawning twistedly in mockery of my inevitable doom. And when it gave from those grinning jaws a deep, sardonic bay as of some gigantic hound, and I saw that it held in its gory filthy claw the lost and fateful amulet of green jade, I merely screamed and ran away idiotically, my screams soon dissolving into peals of hysterical laughter.

I've never seen that figure before, I like it. Is it hideously expensive? (I'll look it up!). Nice paintjob.

Is it just me or has GW come out with some rather nice minis lately? I found myself shopping for some Vampire Counts minis the other day...

I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of shoulder pads/filigree/IP specific gack. Just a really well sculpted bat monster. The shot does it no justice as the wings are folded in a weird way...but they look fantastic. Full of detail and a real treat to paint. Can't remember what it cost but I'm sure it was more than I wanted to pay! Still, sometimes even GW gets it spot on.  :)

Nice work, Uncle Mike.
 :-*

I had that model and sold it last year some time.
You have made me regret that now.

Excellent work. I especially like the effect you have on the wings - fleshy (?) part between the wing spines...

LPC 91: Hybrid

Some of ’em have queer narrow heads with flat noses and bulgy, stary eyes that never seem to shut, and their skin ain’t quite right. Rough and scabby, and the sides of their necks are all shrivelled or creased up. Get bald, too, very young.
The Shadow Over Innsmouth, by H.P.L

This is my first Lovecraftian mini for my VUK/Strange Aeons game. There's plenty of Deep Ones already covered, but I love Shadow Over Innsmouth so much I wanted to do something from there, so I thought I'd go with the fishy frogs in there early forms.  :D
