This is great! I was just saying to Paul (Mason) that I'd put a figure aside for this club.

You did, indeed!
And I am really looking forward to seeing your take on it.
 :D

I will not be putting the same one in as I painted (and posted) it a couple of weeks ago.

LPC 1: Deep One

They were mostly shiny and slippery, but the ridges of their backs were scaly. Their forms vaguely suggested the anthropoid, while their heads were the heads of fish, with prodigious bulging eyes that never closed...They were blasphemous fish-frogs of the nameless design - living and horrible.

Well, well, at it again...  lol

Nice entries so far!  8)

Just spent ½ hour searching for my 2 old packs of RAFM Deep Ones, found both, plus 2 primed ghouls, a set of 'summoned tentacles', and a 'gross anatomy' (conglomerate).

I'll be busy filing and assembling the rest of the evening...  ;D

I hope I can do it justice. I have a plan but it could look very odd! I glued it down and undercoated it this morning.

LPC 3: Moon Beast

“great greyish-white slippery things which could expand and contract at will, and whose principal shape — though it often changed — was that of a sort of toad without any eyes, but with a curious vibrating mass of short pink tentacles on the end of its blunt, vague snout”

Number 5 The Hound

Thank god it was sunday ... varnish is still drying:

LPC 8: Servitor of the Outer Gods

"He thought of the ancient legends of Ultimate Chaos, at whose centre sprawls the blind idiot god Azathoth, Lord of All Things, encircled by his flopping horde of mindless and amorphous dancers, and lulled by the thin monotonous piping of a daemoniac flute held in nameless paws."

H.P. Lovecraft, The Haunter Of the Dark

From the famous range of Cthulhu miniatures by Metal Magic, Dunwich Detectives, elaborately sculpted by Josef Ochmann.
