To prevent unnecessary sanity loss, I won't use the term "one-eyed snake" here. Wait, I just did. Sorry. :(

36, and I'm not sure if I've even undercoated my to-be-entry yet. :?

LPC 37

“ I cannot think of the deep sea without shuddering at the nameless things that may at this very moment be crawling and floundering on its slimy bed, worshipping their ancient stone idols and carving their own detestable likenesses on submarine obelisks of water-soaked granite." H.P Lovecraft Dagon

I figure he'll do work as a Scrawny One, a Deep-One, and a Hybrid in Strange Aeons, plus whatever I use him for in Brink of Battle and Pulp Alley.

Miniature is a Depleted from the Malifaux range.  It was fun to paint, but if you go to assemble one, pay attention to what is arm and what is spare sprue.

LPC 38

The Great Race ... waxed well-nigh omniscient, and turned to the task of setting up exchanges with the minds of other planets, and of exploring their pasts and futures. It sought likewise to fathom the past years and origin of that black, aeon-dead orb in far space whence its own mental heritage had come – for the mind of the Great Race was older than its bodily form. . . The beings of a dying elder world, wise with the ultimate secrets, had looked ahead for a new world and species wherein they might have long life; and had sent their minds en masse into that future race best adapted to house them – the cone-shaped beings that peopled our earth a billion years ago.

WIP: Diorama of Tsathoggua and Formless Spawn coming soon. Thinking of rounding the edges to make the final product more geode-like.

Fantastic coloring on the Great Race! How did you get that effect on the claws?

I like the ghouls too. A ghoul carrying a book, makes you wonder who the books author is.  >:D

The claws are done to mimic the claws of crustaceans/lobsters. An orange fading to maroon undercoat with an increased concentration of thinned down black dots in the darker areas...inner edges highlighted with a thin line of white.

PS The iridescent effect is very hard to take pics of. Trying for some better ones.
