I figure he'll do work as a Scrawny One, a Deep-One, and a Hybrid in Strange Aeons, plus whatever I use him for in Brink of Battle and Pulp Alley.  

Miniature is a Depleted from the Malifaux range.  It was fun to paint, but if you go to assemble one, pay attention to what is arm and what is spare sprue.

Fantastic coloring on the Great Race! How did you get that effect on the claws?

I like the ghouls too. A ghoul carrying a book, makes you wonder who the books author is.

The claws are done to mimic the claws of crustaceans/lobsters. An orange fading to maroon undercoat with an increased concentration of thinned down black dots in the darker areas...inner edges highlighted with a thin line of white.

PS The iridescent effect is very hard to take pics of. Trying for some better ones.
