Are there old D&D Editions available somewhere?
« on: 17 June 2008, 02:10:30 PM »
Triggerd by the release of D&D 4th Edtion, I'm temped to do some "Diabolo'ish" Hack and Slay Dungeoncrawling again. Skip the Roleplaying and give me the DamageDice etcpp.

The Point is: Why use the new and fancy 4th or the reliable and proven 3.5 Edition when you can use the rugged and definitly more oldskool Editon 2.x or even better 1.x where D&D was more Tabletop then Roleplaying.

My Question is now: Does anyone know if the old Editons are available somewhere?

thx
Oh sure. Everybody's in favor of saving Hitler's brain, but when you put it in the body of a Great White Shark, ooh, suddenly you've gone too far

Here's a great one-stop for PDF versions of older D&D/AD&D editions.

They even have "Chainmail"!! ;)
