Happy Seppuku Base Stamps
« on: 10 February 2014, 03:00:20 PM »
Hoi Mates,

This was a KS that I went all in on a few months ago. They delivered nearly on time, and the product is first rate.

The 'stamps' are 3x5, and fit well into index card boxes.  They are also big enough to do some nice sized bases or even terrain.

Here are some bases I made with the different stamps.

Darrell.

It;s a really fantastic product.  If you see the roadway with the cub and drain, the roadway was done first and when dry, the curb was stamped on top.  With the drain covers on the road, the drains were done first, and once dry, the street was added.  There are a bunch of stamps with a variety of textures.  The diamond plate was pressed first to get the diamond pattern, then still uncured, the 'plating' was stamped on top to make plates.

I hate to put up info on bad small companies, and it's a pleasure to share great ones as well!

Those are some good results; very nice.

Can you post some pictures of the stamps themselves? Sounds like an interesting product...

Looks like they're now for sale here: http://happyseppuku.com/texturestamps.html

There's a couple of small photos of the stamp at the top of that page.

Neat product, I could see picking a couple up sometime later this year when funds allow.

Seems like a great product. Are those moulds flexible or solid blocks?

Hi All, here are some Post Apoc 20mm bases I've done.  The basis of the bases are 5 eurocent coins with work great at the scale and give some weight.  I cut the bases/tabs of the minis to give struts to anchor into the putty.  Some I have to reglue, but it works great and are secure.

I'll post more as they come along.
