Six Survivor + Scenery for Tactica 2014!
« on: February 14, 2014, 03:13:54 PM »
Hi,
here some picture of my new survivor group for the presentation at TACTICA 2014.

from left to right:

Bea, the "big" sister of "Zap". She always defends her little Brother, no matter if its bad Soccer-Hooligans or the Undead.

"Zap", is big soccer-fan of the north German soccerclub "St.Pauli". He visits every home game and he hates it, when a game is canceled due a trivial Z-Apokolypse.

Lennard, single parent from Elise. He always believed in 2012 and he has prepared himself and his daughter for the last days of mankind.

Elise, trained since childhood for the survival in the wild. She is a hotshot with the hunting rifle and her aim is always true.

Kevin was send by his parents to the scouts, because he was always a stay-at-home guy. He shoud experience non digital environment. Since his childhood he knows every mmo and first person shooter. Now its time to level the crossbow skill.

Karl has big bones. He doesen`t love the scouts and the scouts don't like him either. He misses his candys but he knows to use his science experience for the right kind of cocktails.

The big girl is from Brothers Vinni, the three in the middle from Hasslefree and the scouts are conversions from Reaper.

greetings

Nice pairings, and I too am a fan of the scout conversions.

Looking forward to TACTICA photos - because your game photos from last year were awesome.

Lovely PJs.
What colours did you use on the shirt and trousers of Leonhard? They've got a nice with look to them.

Outstanding! Which figures from Reaper did you use for the Scouts, if you don't mind me asking?

Lovely figures, which will go nicely with the rest of the build.

Did you post pictures of that combi somewhere else? I think I missed it, and couldnt see it in last years thread. Could you post a pic of it please? I liked the excavator weathering and rust. It looked very accurate.

Cheers
Matt

Oh my, so many questions?!  ;)

Lovely PJs.
What colours did you use on the shirt and trousers of Leonhard? They've got a nice with look to them.

Tough one, most times I fetch suited paints from my rack and after a while my workbench is pure chaos. I like also to test different manufacture.

But if I recall it right, I used for the trousers following combination of paints:

Trousers
Base Grey RLM74 (Lifecolor UA072)
Amor Wash (P3)
1. Layer Grey RLM74 again
mixed Layers more Highlights with Dark and Light Compass Grey (Lifecolor UA027 + UA026)

Shirt
Base Death World Forest (GW Citadell)
Ink Athoshnian Camoshade (GW Citadell)
1. Layers Base Death World Forest (GW Citadell)
Layers with Elysian Green (GW Citadell)
Highlight Dark Sand (Vallejo Model Color 70847)

I hope that helped.

Outstanding! Which figures from Reaper did you use for the Scouts, if you don't mind me asking?

Sure, Don't know if I could post the link, so here it is the Reaper No. : 50192: Boy Campers (3) ($7.99) by Patrick Keith

Lovely figures, which will go nicely with the rest of the build.

Did you post pictures of that combi somewhere else?

I was last half year a bit lazy and didn't work on the extension for the project, so its mostly the same old. But If you don't mind I can post some pictures.

Most impressive!

I am still on the fence whether I can afford to go to Tactica or not. This is definately not helping!

Are the sandbag emplacement homemade or did you buy them somewhere. I have been looking for sandbags that are more fitting for urban enviroments.
