Actually, scabbards could make sense, too, for example if they'd have been bearing the swords for some time, and hadn't simply picked them up in a rush to fight.

Hello all

WuZhuiQiu you have a point on that.
The big question is that i would like to use the same miniatures for several options (gang members, legionaires, ships crew, etc).
I think i will choose without scabbards because even if i use them as legionaires i can make them as they where surprised on their sleep and got what they had in hand to fight.
For the rest they are just perfect.

Cheers

Rui

hey,

To make everyone agree, put a scabbard in the free hand of the swordman, just like he was awaked and drawn his sword in emergency..... ;)

Hello all

The problem with the scabbards is solved.
No scabbards at all.

Some updates on transformed miniatures.
Again the base figures are darkest africa tribesmen.
I´m begining to like those figures. Very practical. o_o
The one with the torch is dedicated to Mark (i also like to burn things). :D
The one with the wood club and knife is dedicated to Eric (no, not gladius) :D
Hope everyone likes.

Cheers

Rui

Wow, those are excellent Rui  :-*
Wonderful work with the Green Stuff.

The new Victrix Republican Roman Velites should provide you with lots of new conversion potential for your Roman street gangs  :)

These are excellent. I turned my Darkest Africa natives into Sudanese mercenaries for my El Cid era games though...

I like the flaming torch idea. You just need Crassus's fire brigade of slaves to put the flames out now!

Keep it up!

Mark

Hello all

Well, a tutorial will take some time to appear.
I first would like to sculp a little more and when i fill confident i might do one.
I still have a long way to do in sculping.

Many thanks for the comments Professor.
