Seems like one of the deepwars minis I would say.

you may be right, i hadn't considered that.

Gutbukkit, thanks! Hasslefree seems to be a perfect match!

The Thing is indeed from Deep Wars. I was a bit miffed by the casting, though. Had to spend quite some time to work the metal blob in his face into something resembling teeth.

No worries :) I think they mix well too. I'm thinking of basing my Wargames factory survivors as you have. It looks effective and it's nice and simple. Can't wait for the next instalment.

Something sinister is at work - because I also missed these awesome pages. Well done.

I'll be away on vacation for the next week, but I'll take all my hobby stuff with me, so I hope there will be plenty more pictures afterwards 8)

In the meantime, here are a few WIP pictures of various things for the project.

Not sure how this'll turn out. I'm not entirely happy with the proportions - it would make a good freighter in 15 mm, but it seems like neither fish nor fowl in 28. We'll see.

Autonomous area defence system for the radar station.

And finally, a picture of the current state of the second rock. Vegetation is only temporarily placed.

Liking all of this  8)

Maybe the boat could have some extra platforms added to it to make the overall size larger?

cheers

Looking lovely mate!
And the size makes it perhaps a smaller fishing boat?

Cracking mate! :o  8)

Those guns look great for many things, are you planning on casting them? Are you also planning and detailing the feet a bit more? Maybe panels or sumit?

Of course I'll cast the gun, and of course I'll detail the foot some more :)

:o Wow! You're like some sort of wargames Midas... Everything you touch turns into scenery gold!

Size and shape wise that boat of yours looks rather a bit like those charter sport fishing boats you see a lot around florida. You know the ones with those tall tube-frame platforms over the cabin?

One of those could be a nice looking match with the warm climate your rock islands evoke?
And a further source for conflict with the waterfolk: "And stop fishing up our pets dammit!"
