Gen. Pettygree's Tincture of Obfuscation
« on: 02 March 2014, 06:36:47 PM »
My dear Chaps,
General Pettygree's latest chapter is below:

-----
You might want to play marching music whilst reading - for atmosphere.
It's 1903. The General is in Alexandria commencing his plan to recover the lost Port of Suakin and subdue a newly rising rebellion in The Soudan - with a tincture of obfuscation.

Cheerio,
Bill

Bill's tales are always fun.  But what is up with an elephant in the Sudan - or Alexandria, Egypt I suppose?  Has there been an escape from the local potentate's menagerie!?  Just have to wait and see!

Is that Gregory Peck on the right of the picture with the heliograph?
Gary, Glynis, and Alasdair (there are three of us, but we are too mean to have more than one login)
