Simply marvelous!!

A well crafted undertaking, I'm impressed.
I am quite close to declaring this the feline posterior.
I Like it!!  A LOT!!

Though I have one small concern: she seems a bit nose light...
The truck front end seems a bit truncated, unfinished.  With all the weight, and work, in the rear perhaps you might consider something to offset all that, a winch, or a weight rack or a plough blade?

In art, as in life, balance is as important as she is delicate...

The heaviest part of any Steam Shovel will be the boiler. In this case, you can see the boiler is pretty clearly right over the main treads which bear the weight. The truck front is a rather unconventional add-on, but is interesting and simply adds a set of steering gear and a better driving position for those times the steam shovel needs to drive down regular roads. The tracks are still the main weight-bearing and driving element though.
