Love the face.
Maybe a little more work on the hands.
Look forward to the kickstarter.

The proportions seem to be correct for the average 16 foot tall gorilla.  Especially if the 1930's movie required a human to fit inside it.

I want it for my one man army :)
It's undoubtedly a trap.

For me, the body looks  too much like that of a human rather than a gorilla,

why so?

what I can see is the usual 28mm head exaggeration and the frequeny of sculpting gorillas upright, which they rarely do, because they lean on the forelimbs most of the time when moving

The brief for this model and subsequent range is that they have a gritty almost dark comic feel. I did not want scientifically accurate representations of real world animals but convincing models that would fit well with the range of models sculpted by the likes of Mark Copplestone and Steve Saleh. I think anything hyper-realistic would not fit well along sculpts from these two gentlemen. I do plan on having an older, scarred up silverback model that is more on all fours rather than standing tall. This guy represents his black back son.

I am waiting on the adopted daughter/jungle girl sculpt to be finished. Once I have that I will figure out some costs then launch. Hopefully within two months.

Just got the castings and started to paint one of the big boys up. I really enjoy his jumbo rather than colossal size.
