Lovely model
but I think it was only Pz1A versions that got the modified turret, only pics I have seen are all A variant.
You could use the turret off this one, on your A, and the MG turret off the A on your B version, that way you get all three versions of the Pz1.

Nice model indeed.  :)

I'll back up Durutti here, as it was only the As that were converted and only six of them in total (or four according to some). That being said, there's no reason why a B couldn't be converted, they just weren't. I suspect that purely for the trials, the 'A' variant was past its best and wouldn't be missed from the line units (all the Pz I were Wehrmacht surplus with miles on the clock in the SCW).

The plan was to have one '20mm tank' (Panzer or CV-33) per five tank platoon, should anyone wish to do the imaginary realistically.  ;D

This model is from the Force of Arms stables and so has been released as it is.

I agree with your comments that Panzer1B are not listed as being converted although I am not in the 'it never happened' camp on many historic facts. In theatre unusual things happen. However we are working / messing with our current Panzer1A to release that with the turret as well. That way customers have the known historic and the 'it might have happened historic' option.

Anyway there is evidence that 23.5 were converted in Essex in the VBCW so all good  lol

I'm a big fan of the 'Kudoff' school of gaming.  ;)

3 20mm 'B' models were made for Bulgaria, but never got there and I think the Hungarians ended up with some... so sure having the option for A or B types will work for everyone I think.

Is this a good time to mention that one was converted in Spain to carry the Soviet 45mm and another with the 37mm McLean (aka 'Maklen') gun? Presumably as some sort of tank destroyers rather than in turrets.  :D

I just saw a picure of an R35 with a T26 turret, a sleigh with a Flakvierling and more mindboggling 'vehicles' Refitting a later PzIB with for example a turret from a destroyed PzIA, seems almost likely compared to those.
