Another possibilty for the armored Armenian foot (Imitation Legionaire) is using spear armed Saxon Huscarls (assuming the nasals can be removed), and adding oval or rectangular shield.

could be interesting.

For Legionary immitation, with less work of converting, just pick up celtiberian warrior and change their shield for Scutum.
They my have trousers (or paint trousers if not on the figurines), montefortino helmet and chainmail or breast plate.

All you need for an Armenian dress style.
