Captaaaain Mancaaaaave!!! Painted bu Bugsda 27/05

Back from the dead.....well, he was frozen in time.
 

I asked Bugsda to paint one up for me whilst he was doing some more Apache for my Old West project.
I just felt the need to add the picture to this thread...



I am well pleased with him.

The Hairy Dude fits right in. BEAUTIFUL paint jobs all, but I think Captain Man Cave is a superior miniature to his Native American Associates. GREAT WORK!

I am very happy with Bugsda's work on him.

Now I just have to figure how to fit him into the Apache warband that he has become rather attached to.

Perhaps the rather 'eccentric' and harmless mountain man has followed the apaches for years. While initially unimpressed by their new "neighbour", nothing short of murder could get rid of him. And each time one brave went down that road, knife in hand, those big brown innocent puppy dog eyes stared back...

So despite being fearless apaches, they tried just ignoring the big fella.

Then one spring, Mancave developed some strange attachment to one of the braves, Betty. He followed Betty wherever he went like a shadow. Then on the first new moon in november, Mancave just disappeared. One day he was there, the next he was gone.

The apaches made all sorts of jokes and innuendoes, at Betty's expense, and strangely the Apaches discovered they missed him.

The following Fall, Mancave returned to the camp wearing a Laura Ashley floral chintz. 

He's been a welcome member of the tribe ever since.

It did make me chuckle, though, what your feverish little mind cooks up under all that sun.
