T+T in the Sudan with pictures
« on: 03 July 2008, 12:37:56 PM »
Hi,

we played two colonial games at the weekend. We wanted to test new rules like formations, volley fire, flags, musicians, special units etc.

The figures we used are from Old Glory, Redoubt, Perries and Foundry ( Painted by Frank Becker, Knoxville and me ). The terrain, animals and innocent bystanders was shared by us three.

The first game we played was an attack on a small village and the second game was about a supply column comming under attack from an ambush.

We had lots of fun and I wanted to share the pictures with you. When I have the whole bunch I will make battle reports.

All pictures copyright by Frank Becker.
Cheers
Björn

Sorry, but it's still in an early phase of development. Maybe we'll do a closed beta test and invite you then... ;)

Now that's a really huge game for T&T! Have you been satisfied with the rules so far?

Thanks for the kind posts.

Maik, we are very happy with the rules so far. We currently work for some rules that make T+T more suitable for Colonial and Darkest Africa games.

The sudanese Units were pretty large. But the game was fluid and fast paced. We had breaks when we discovered new rules in some situations and had to discuss them.

One thing for example was splitting fire or turning a gun etc !

Tellus: youre welcome :)

Cheers

Outstanding!

The paint is sooooo very goooood!

Pictures need few words.

Praises could go on, and on......

Thank YOU.

Sorry to say that as the owner is a very nice chap, but Displaced Miniatures is too instable these days. Once more, I can't see any pics. :'(

Sadly, only too true. However, as I had the pleasure of being able to be there for a few hours I at least saw all the minis. And they were just a total blast. Also nice to have met twon more members of the forum. Too bad I had to leave before the actual game started... Well, maybe next time....

The problem with Displaced Miniatures is that it sometimes dont work. Just try again or come back later. I can see the pics now.
