INEPTT AAR GENRE 2

June of 45, the Allies have complete control of Germany, but there are still strange things going on. INEPTT sends two teams of Agents into Bundberg Bavaria. There are reports that no one has seen or heard from anyone in Bundberg for a little over a week. The teams are dispatched as quickly as possible.


US team foreground, British Empire rear. The Brits have a Bren carrier crewed by two team members, the US have a truck with driver (armed with a .45).


The town is eerily quiet, nothing is moving. INEPTT team leaders decide to check all the buildings as they move along.

British Empire team moves to clear a second building and try and set up a good location for the Bren gun to set up in.


US Truck moves toward the hotel when all of a sudden all hell breaks loose!


As the US Team moves to clear their second building they come under intense fire from about a dozen XRAYs (Gray Alien).

The Ambush is well set but sadly for the Grays they are horrible shots! Only managing to connect with two shots the INEPTT teams return fire is devastating.


Concentrating fire the Bren carrier supports the US Team and in a short but intense fire fight take out an estimated 8 XRAYs.


British team breaks into the back of the hotel tracking down the few remaining XRAYs.

US Team breaks into the hotel after eliminating the remainder of the XRAYs that launched the ambush. Losing their truck, truck driver and 1 other agent the Americans wanted some revenge!


Slow response to the hard charging INEPTT agents the grays become easy targets for both teams.


Top floor of the hotel reveals the Alien commander. Knowing he has no chance he surrenders. Now he will be taken to a bunker in London for "debriefing"!

This was a fun game, ran very quickly - roughly 35 minutes. But this is with experience players. The Grays should have been able to take out more in the ambush but absolutely abysmal dice meant that the INEPTT teams survived first contact and made the grays pay in full.

INEPTT did lose both vehicles and 2 US Agents, the Brits lost no agents except the two in the Carrier. The Bren team alone took out 5 Grays with some great shooting.

Thanks very much. The game runs well and I am told by the players it is easy to understand and intuitive. Any sort of imagination will get you so many scenarios you won't know where to start.
