Oooooooooooof. Toughest match up of the round...
I LOVE those Dutch pike. Top work Malcolm.
There again, the depth of colour on those post-apocalyptic survivors...

Both excellent, really, well done. I'd like to think it will be a close result. It deserves to be.

Again, what a contrast!

Are they facing off with each others?

the Pike should have been up against the Pinkertons, and the Chaves against the Bring it on.  Why are such different types set against each other.  I go for the dog.
I am interested in land warfare throughout history and beyond, except the Seven Years War, in Europe.

Why are such different types set against each other.

The painting style isn't all that different here, and both are very, very well done.

Genre should be largely irrelevant although I'm sure some people vote for the period they prefer regardless of quality.

What might be edging one over the other is simply that one entry has more variety than the other.
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

28mm.  Mark Copplestone sculpts, North Star Miniatures 1672 range.

Zoogla, excellent painting.   :)

Both nice entries and a tough choice.

Who makes the figures from Bring "Em On?

Zoogla, nice to see you back here. I think you will make a lot of my favorite things. Round 2 is a good start (Missed the first round).

Both works very admirable and enviable from my (beginner's) point of view. The wood grain on the hammer shaft, that is some painstaking and dedicated work! On the other side, the shadowing of the pike men's faces creates a great atmospheric effect.

Has this entry been closed early by mistake? Right now under the poll it show the results and "Closed March 31st" - as a Round 2 entry it should be open all week, no?

There's no bold text to show which one I voted for, either, so it's not that I've voted and am now seeing the results...

something is wrong here. It went straight to the results & didn't give me a chance to vote.
