Very hard choice. The first is an excellent vignette. Love the Romans also, very bright - how I personally like to think of them.

My thoughts exactly. And very nicely chosen depth of field, by the way. I often aim at something similar, but eventually it doesn't always work as the actual objects are so deep and I run out of physical space and/or backdrop size. It's amazing how huge a set-up you sometimes need for photographing a handful of minis.

I was thinking the same thing. I almost always shoot for the widest depth of field, but here is an example of what blurring the background can do for you. If the background figs were in sharp focus, it would have been too distracting. Amazing...

These are both gorgeous. The composition on that vignette is brilliant and the photography makes it look like live action. Great brushwork on this smaller scale as well.

The brushwork on those Romans is so clean and perfect. The palette is great and the basing is fabulous.
