My other Ogre stuff is in parade ground colors, because I just like it that way better than camouflage. These guys, though, I wanted to tie them together in a scheme. Since part of the Ogre World Fluff is the "Sahara Combat Zone" I decided that desert camouflage would work.

I mean, why would you bother to paint an OGRE in camouflage? It isn't going to sneak up on anyone. The answer to that question is, of course, because the Ogre wanted to be painted in camo. Anything with an AI and nuclear weapons tells you it wants a new paint job, mister, you get painting.  lol

Glad you liked them. Sadly, I think Bugsda is going to cream me in this round - his shading is really great. I always have a hard time with good skin tones like that.

I was thinking the same thing about your camo pattern.  The lines are super clean and the painting is great.  I always have trouble painting any large, flat surfaces but yours look great.

There's a lot of color variety on those Romans. Glad I'm not facing Bugsda again this LPL ;)

Subtle color hints on the Ogre figs are just right with that nice camo.
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

Dr Mathias,

I can tell you I am not enjoying the experience. Although I am doing a bit better than I had expected when I saw my opponent this round. Thankfully, this will only happen to me once, as well.

And thanks for the kind words on the camo scheme. I was pretty happy with how they came out in the end, though to be honest I repainted the Combine logo on the Ogre about four times, in different colors.
