As it happens we are not on Earth (shame the VMG didn't notice this earlier) and therefore all statements of this nature are null and void.

If Farquarson makes any wrong moves then we will come down on him with all the power we possess; otherwise, he is free to ply his trade in a fashion that suits the only governing body on the Red Planet...
