I'm slowly putting together something with pics of everything they do. I don't work for them, its a favour, so it will be a while before everything is up.

When its got a good load of pics up there I will let everyone know. I've only images for certain ranges at present and none of the interwar stuff yet. But its moving and will happen.

Meantime, Scheltrum will be at Carronade tomorrow (Sat 10th).

I'll settle for a sketch of the figures. Something drawn on a cocktail napkin in biro or lipstick? Maybe one of those police identikit pictures? Stick figures?

Really could do with some nice painted examples of their stuff. I must admit I don't even look at this stand any more when I see it at a show, Why make nice figures and then brush paint them with red lead undercoat.

I cant say I blame you, I would probably do the same.

The figures do look nice but that display would not attract my attention in the first place to even look.

It's a point I've brought up. The owners painting skills aren't the best, by his own admission, and hampered further by a little colour blindness. Added to the fact this is a hobby, not a main business there's not always time or money to get them painted.

As we get some more pics taken we'll try various ink washes to see what works best on the stand and on "film" so to speak.

i see some useful and unusual minis there. The faces of these ranges has not always been top notch so I appreciate the headless option

Even a black ink wash over a grey base would be better.
Maybe a white/light grey drybrush afterwards.
You will see much more of the detail.
 ;)

It seems a shame as they do look very nice figures.

Interesting stuff, I really like the Maxim cart.

not normally a fan of Scheltrum but those Finnish Guards look nice.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.
