Saw enough of Ted to know it's a piece of scatology entire to give serious reconsideration to watching this flick - though the talent line up appears to be impressive.  Though I sometimes wonder if it's become so easy to get A list talent because so few watchable movies are made for those of us not 13 years old (or arrested 13 year olds - plenty of those out there - and in here, too  )

It'll probably be a huge hit, though. 

Hey, I think I just hit on the name for the youngest generation (or at least the early teens to the early twenties): The Insipid Generation.  Of course, for the overly tattooed and pierced generation I've decided to call them The Grotesques.  And, just this past week my wife and I saw a youthful man with about one inch disks in his ear lobes, shades of New Guinea primitives.  Next vilestone (not a typo) will be someone with a two inch disk in his or her lower lip.  Am I showing my age - or my cantankerous nature!

Blazing saddles was equally high brow......and is still raved about today.   I'm going to enjoy it for what it is...simple.
