Con Crom
« on: 15 April 2014, 09:08:47 AM »
I recently ran a game of Crom at a local convention.  Here's a write up:

& another post of the figures

The dungeon is directly inspired by OldBen1's Curwen House in a box

& the huts were kindly painted by Skrapwelder.

Remember, remember, the Dalek December
With Paris in ruins and London in ember
In times of the future when fears are abating
Don’t try to forget them, the Daleks are waiting
Quietly planning and scheming and hating…

That looks great. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves.
Your unknown summoned (or not summoned as the case may be) snake creature is a Grenadier figure, it's a crypt worm or something (purple worm? Who knows?).

Very nice! I plan to revisit my first CROM! scenario at my Attic Attack next month.

Where's the cone of skulls from, please?
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

Mr Matakishi, yes, everyone has loved the games I've run of Crom.  I've sold a number of friends on it, & one of the convention players specifically requested info on the rules so he could try them out.  So hopefully I've sent some customers your way.

Also, one of the friends is running an Elric game based on your rules:

Argonor, if you mean the big cone in the altar room, it was some sort of decorative set I got a San Francisco art museum.  If you mean the 2 smaller ones, they're from the Lemax Halloweentown sets.
