Exciting news from Brigade Models (well, exciting for armoured car enthusiasts anyway!) - Brigade Models is working on a Minerva A/C!

Expected release date is October.

Something Belgian at last. These wonderful and succesful vehicles also fought on the Eastern Front with the Russians. When the armistice was arranged on that side because of the revolution, the Belgians went al the way through Siberia to be shipped to America, cross it from the westcoast to the eastcoast and parade in New York before they were shipped back to Belgium.
Somebody should make a movie of this .... Where are Jackson or Spielberg when you need them??

Not just Belgian..the home base of the Minerva company was in Antwerp.

Here are a few good pictures of Minervas in action.

Love these AC's.

Thanks for the linkage!

Very versatile models. Will work great for my Congo capers!

So we wait for October. Heh.

That might be a silly question but do anybody know what kind of fire these vehicles were able to sustain? I’m thinking it couldn’t be much more that rifle fire but I can be wrong… :?
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

Since they're Belgian, they were certainly beerbottleproof...  lol

Seriously: I Googled (in dutch...) and came up with a max armour of 4mm (courtesy Belgian Army Museum).

The belgians in russia used the Mors armoured car. Minervas were only used on the western front. Four cars were used by the German army

The Wargames Illustrated also has a Belgian 1914 armoured car army list for use with The Great War rules, sept issue 251.
No idea if this is a official army list bye TGW. but as there is not one in the rule book this will make a good start.
