Really like these mate and I also think the Explore, Expand and Explote would be a good edition for the trilogy  8)

cheers

Explore,  Expand, Exploit - that's the one.

A star system with a dying sun in the last throws of existence. The habitation zone shrinks as another planet is plunged into a world of ice. The remaining population who haven't left the system on board colony relocation ships move between the various planets,  moons and space stations or jealously guard them.

OR (to play on the meanings of the three Es)

A system with a young yellow dwarf has been discovered. Several planets are cold but habitable and others will be in a few thousand years. It is, however the mineral riches these planets and moons may hold that has brought companies, colonists and planetary alliances from all over the spiral to these new worlds. Outposts and  space stations are built, laying claim over great swathes of world's and entire moons. But as these frozen world's that, something else is stirring.

It has a sort of unique charm to it, sort of like Exploit, but we've done more, we've Exploted!

Thanks chaps ..... Interesting and amusing comments !  :D

All 12 of the Migrant Traders are now cloaked and so I have started on the Northern Guard.  A few tasters:

Btw, regarding EEE, I do have something Future Wars in the offing for next year.  I've sold my Aliens Minis and planned to refurbish my 'facility' as something snowbound .... So, all very interesting and useful ideas (if somewhat off topic  :D)
My LAF Gallery is HERE
Minis (foot & mounted) finished in 2025 = 74
(2024 = 38; 2023 = 151; 2022 = 204; 2021 = 123; 2020 = ???)

They look really good. You're green stuff skills are pretty damn impressive.

I like the idea of an EEE setting

A bit more of a selection:

I still have 21 Northern Guard cloaks to finish then the Bear People to finish sculpting which must be moulded and cast next week if I am to get them painted for BLAM.....

They look brilliant Steve.
You're going to have rather a lot of painting to do over the next four weeks though, aren't you...  :o :o

Wot?! Unpainted minis aren't allowed at BLAM?!  :D

Seriously though, my schedule has me finishing on the Tuesday before, though as contingency I could (reluctantly) drop the castle scenario thereby saving a heap of work.  (Though I'm also a bit worried about the lake as I don't yet have the 'jigsaw' acetate).

Suggestions on colour schemes would be appreciated.

- The Bear People will have tan and grey clothing (skins and furs)

- For the Migrant Traders I am drawn towards browns and greens for their cloaks

- For the Northern Guard I am in a state of quandary fast approaching tizz!  Black is the too obvious choice but is a bugger to highlight and isn't very medieval so isn't an option.  Red risks highlighting to pink, which with all the snow risks looking like a summer fruit sundae.  Maybe a grey-blue, such as Vallejo French Mirage Blue? They do look great....but.......BLOODY HELL!!!!

How are you going to get all of them painted in time?
 :o :o :o

And there was me worrying that I did not have time....

I think that I have sussed it: You have built a Time Machine out of green stuff, superglue and paper, haven't you?
