Hi,

As you guys will be able to tell from the above I'm not that technically minded when it comes to this sort of thing. I can take good pictures, Photoshop them enough to be presentable on the net and that's about it!!

Does anyone out there know how I could reduce a pic to the requisite size to use as an Avatar on the forum? Pretty please with sugar on top of course!)?

Darrell.

All you need to do is crop the picture to show what you want, in roughly the correct proportions required by the forum.
In whatever software you use for photoshopping, there should be an entry to resize (typically in one of the image or view menus), where you then simply select the maximum height/width combination allowed (I think 80*80 pixels?) and then go!
Feel free to e-mail it over and I can resize it, if you want.

That would be very, very good of you and very much appreciated mate  8) 8) 8). I can resize pics but on the SDF it's asking me to resize to 0 to 8Kib and there's no reference to Kib's on the resize tool  :-[.

Basically that's all the info I can give you as it's out of my small stretch of knowledge sadly.

I'll send an e-mail over now.

Darrell.
