Back in the land of WIP... Mechs
« on: May 13, 2014, 06:38:13 PM »
The comparative immanence of SotTR version 2 has me dusting off a long unfinished project, a scratchbuilt mech for my Brits, (legs & a few detail pieces from a GW IG sentinel).
This fit of modelling shame was triggered by my recent purchase of one of Clockwork Goblin's excellent Grizzly mechs - a really good kit, fantastic quality, I really can't praise it enough, just buy one & help the guy make more fantastic stuff. (The size comparison mini is Hasslefree's equally lovely & equally WIP 'Major Stephanie'.)

Great work! I'm also eyeing one of those Grizzly but I must confess I see it as a Soviet mech... ;D

Great looking WIP.

Any chance of closer pics of the Major?

I look forward to seeing them finished and in action.

As soon as she's finished I'll stick a pic up, it's a lovely mini & a pleasure to paint.

Cheers for the compliments, here's the requested c/u of Major Stephanie (along with one from the HF site).
She's still WIP I'm afraid, as usual, painting time's at a premium & the leadpile threatens to engulf unwary visitors to the spare room - you can see the Artizan 'Remy' mini in the pic, another addition to the mountain as the urge to immortalise the 'Allo 'Allo cast for Pulp Alley proved too much  o_o
